About Our New Beginning

Lynsey Hernandez was a struggling, single mother at the time and was looking for work when a traumatic, past incident inspired her to help people in their greatest time of need.  In August 2011, she made a decision to help her community as well as surrounding cities and states in their time of need.  A time that is difficult, yet crucial in handling with sensitivity.   She attended Texas A&M for her Bio Medical Science Degree along with her Accounting Degree.   During her training, she discovered that she could assist people in many situations.  Special situations come in many forms and can be many things, such as death, hoarding, gross filth, homicides, suicides, natural death, odor removal/deodorization, and many others.

Common concerns, other than what is mentioned above are as follows, blood cleanup, body decomposition cleanup, clandestine drug lab cleanup, crime scene cleanup, foreclosure cleanout, human and animal feces cleanup, holding cell cleanup, industrial accidents, law enforcement vehicle cleanup, trauma cleanup, unattended death cleanup, vandalism cleanup, and water restoration.

These are all situations that are difficult to face and finding a small family business is important when you want someone to pay attention to the details. New Beginnings CTS Decon is a family owned business in the Greater Houston Area, but Lynsey and her family are not limited to helping only this area.

As a family business that travels where and when needed by families during their crisis and time of need. New Beginnings takes pride in their response time.  Promptness and efficiency is a necessity in this type of business because families need to cope and mourn privately.  In order for families to do this, we have committed to assisting them with respect and expediently.  Death is not what anyone wants to think about, but when people are faced with this, especially unexpectedly, we want to be there.

New Beginnings also works with the following companies and agencies for blood cleanup:  Coroners & Medical Examiners, Funeral Homes & Directors, Insurance Agencies & Adjusters, Police Departments & Constables, Fire Departments, Hospitals, Apartment Communities, Hotels & Motels, and Retirement Communities.

Initially, we started this company when we realized the police left the scenes as they were, only removing the bodies.  Families have already been through such a traumatic experience, that they are at a total loss of what to do with what is left behind.  This is our way of helping out community.

We are flexible and available when you need us. Calls are answered 24/7, 365 days of the year.  We remove what needs to be disposed of, save what is able to be saved, and prepare the house in order for a remodel crew to come in (if need be) to make the house normal again, considering the situation. We work with insurance companies (if there is one) to file the claim so the family has one less detail to be concerned about, especially with all of the preparations that are already in place.  After filing the claim with your insurance company, we will then invoice your insurance company directly to ensure your claim is processed as quickly as possible. Special circumstances exist when payment is received directly from your insurance company minus the deductible, which you are then responsible for.  If insurance coverage is not available, we do offer help contacting the Victims Compensation Claims or setting up payment plans.  Working closely with the family on a payment plan and/or pricing that will work with their budget is a priority to me.  We are here to help, not make things more difficult.

The name New Beginnings was created when we decided we could help you, your family, and/or friends start a New Beginning.  A new beginning is to start fresh, and we take pride in ourselves to assisting in this transition with the utmost respect and professionalism.  During this time of need, we hold your hand and walk you through the process as painlessly as possible so you are able to start your New Beginning.

Lynsey is no longer a single mom, but a wife and mother of a 16 year old son and 13 year old daughter.  We are a family oriented business which helps us relate to people in situations involving their family.  Our focus as a family business is that we will provide high quality service and great customer satisfaction.  We will do everything possible to meet and exceed your expectations. With the various options of clean up that we are able to offer, we know you will be satisfied working with us.

New Beginnings is licensed, insured and bonded as well as being NIOSH, OSHA, and EPA compliant. We also maintain a contract with a Medical Waste Disposal Company in order to dispose of biohazard waste the legal way.
